Beginning September 25, 2008 - All purchases of my jewelry will go through either my shop at 1000Markets or my shop on Etsy. Both offer secure check out and payment processes.
If ordering as a gift I offer FREE gift wrap and a hand written note! Please make a note in checkout with the exact wording you want on your card and what the event is (i.e. birthday, Christmas, graduation, etc.) so that I can select appropriate wrapping paper.

To Order
In my 1000Markets store you can shop 'til you drop with me and other artisans. Once you are done simply 'check out' and make one payment using Amazon.com's safe and secure (and 100% guaranteed) checkout system. Your card information is never seen by the artisan.
In my Etsy Store. Simply select the "Add to Cart" button and follow the prompts to finish checking out. Etsy also has a guide for making purchases that will show you the steps.
*** DO NOT FORGET to finalize your order by making your payment. Once you finish selecting your address and how you want to pay you still have ONE more step...there is one more button that will take you to the Paypal site to complete your payment process.
Etsy orders can be paid for using Paypal. You do NOT have to create a Paypal account in order to pay. You can use your credit card and Paypal acts as a conduit for you to pay. If you have a Paypal account you can also use your Paypal balance or electronic check. All electronic checks must clear prior to shipping.
I am happy to ship internationally, but please do not ask me to lie on a customs form. Marking purchased jewelry as 'gift' is incorrect and illegal. I will mark 'other' and put the appropriate retail value on the form. I always state that the work is "handmade in the United States."
COUPONS
Sadly, neither Etsy nor 1000Markets has any way to accept coupon codes to automatically adjust for discounts. However I am still offering discount codes and specials. So how will you get your discount???
Simply enter the code in the "message to seller" box in the next to last step of checkout. Complete the checkout process and make your payment using Paypal or Amazon.
After your order is processed and a shipping label created I will manually issue a refund for the discount amount. It's not a perfect solution but it's currently the most simple plan for making sure I can continue to offer special discounts. =)

Rest assured that all of your information is secure and safe. I will never share or sell your contact information. I am adamant about this - I do not want my personal information shared and I won't share yours.
Returns/Exchanges
Each piece of jewelry I create is unique and hand crafted. My goal is your complete satisfaction. If you have questions or concerns about your jewelry after purchase please contact me right away. I will accept returns, for any reason, up to 14 days after delivery for a 25% restocking fee.
All jewelry is guaranteed to be free from defects in craftsmanship and materials on delivery. Should the jewelry fail and examination reveals it was due to negligence on my part, I will repair or replace the item at no additional cost, if notified within 7 days. You must contact me via e-mail ( casto (at!) castocreations (dot) com ) before you return any item.
If you purchased an item as a gift, I am happy to try to resize an item as needed or as the piece allows (you will be responsible for all additional necessary shipping costs) after purchase. Please try to plan ahead and find out the size needed for a gift so I can adjust it before I send it out.
Pieces that are broken due to mistreatment cannot be returned or exchanged. I am happy to fix an item that breaks, within reason and ability, for a repair fee. Custom orders cannot be returned or exchanged; however, I truly want you to be happy with your purchase and will work with you to the best of my ability to make sure your item is as you desire.
Custom Orders
Can't decide on that perfect gift? I am happy to create a custom piece of jewelry as unique as your special person. I will work with you to design the perfect gift. After a design is agreed upon, I require full payment, including shipping charges. I am happy to send your gift directly to the recipient, along with a lovely gift card (which I will fill out for you with your sentiments).
Pearl restringing is done on a per pearl basis. I charge $2.00 per pearl, plus a service fee of $25. I use silk thread for all my pearl stringing and can match the thread to the color of your pearls (i.e. different colored pearls like blue or green can have matching threads).
~Please Note~
Sterling silver tarnishes. It's no one's fault. It's the nature of the metal. A simple polishing cloth will keep your sterling bright and shiny. Do not use chemicals when cleaning jewelry that includes pearls or other sensitive gemstones.
When wearing jewelry that utilizes lampworks glass beads please use caution and treat the pieces with care. Lampworks glass is not for children! Each bead is handmade by an artisan. I choose the best Lampworks artists I can find to bring you high quality beads, but they are glass and they are breakable. I cannot replace or repair a Lampworks piece if a bead is broken from wear simply due to the unique nature of each glass bead.
Colors are difficult to represent online as each person's screen may show colors differently. I try to describe the colors of each piece to the best of my ability. If you are concerned about a color matching something specific, please contact me or send me a photo of what you're trying to match. I'll try to work with you to make sure you see the appropriately represented color as best I can.
Your purchase will come carefully packaged - ready to give as a gift or keep for yourself. My boxes contain tarnish resistant cotton - feel free to keep your sterling and silver jewelry in the box when not worn to keep it from tarnishing.
